Professor Stephen Nickell CBE FBA

Professor Stephen Nickell CBE FBA is Warden of Nuffield College, Oxford.

He has had a distinguished career as an Economist and most recently held the post of School Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics.

He was also a member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee from June 2000 and May 2006.

Professor Nickell is a non-executive member of the Statistics Authority.
