Sir Alan Langlands

Sir Alan Langlands FRSE is a non-executive member of the Statistics Authority. He is Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dundee. He was the Chief Executive of the National Health Service in England 1994-2000, and has an international reputation in the development of healthcare policy. He received a Knighthood in 1998 for his services to the NHS.
