Cabinet Office
There is a small statistical presence in the Cabinet Office. This consists of six people including a Head of Profession. Three staff work within the Civil Service Capability Group, with a focus on the analysis of Civil Service staffing data. Analysis is used to support the policy making process and to provide evidence in respect of, for example, diversity trends, workforce growth, pay, health and well-being, leadership, recruitment, and other Civil Service workforce related issues. In addition, the Statistical Reform Team has three statistical staff. They advise Cabinet Office ministers on their responsibilities under the Statistics and Registration Service Act.
