Assessment

The Office for Statistics Regulation determines whether official statistics meet the highest standards of trustworthiness, quality and value set out in the Code of Practice for Official Statistics. When these standards are met and acting on the advice of the Office for Statistics Regulation, the UK Statistics Authority designates them as National Statistics. The process of determining compliance with the Code and designation as National Statistics is known as Assessment.

These pages provide further information about Assessment, including guidance, the Assessment work programme and published Assessment Reports.
