Guidance about Assessment

Statistics are designated as National Statistics through the Authority’s Assessment process. This page contains links to guidance about assessment and designation.

The Authority’s Monitoring and Assessment team is currently reviewing this page with two aims:

  • to provide producers of official statistics with guidance about assessment and compliance with the Code that is easy to navigate and will better support learning
  • to reflect the outcomes of an internal review to transform the way we do things so that the assessment process will deliver greater efficiency and value for producer bodies, the Authority and users
